I transcribed this book in 1989 but it was never published. I had it available as a web site for many years but never marketed it. Now that the technology allows me to publish it so it may be read on electronic readers, it feels like the time is right to release it to the public. I re-read it in preparation to upload it, and made a few minor corrections and fixed some typos, but I would say overall it still holds up so I didn’t make any content changes. Keep in mind that it was written two years after the Harmonic Convergence and I had lived among a community of people who were at the forefront of the New Age Movement in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida at the time. Although I never really considered myself to be a "New Ager," I was involved in mind-body-spirit healing at the time and occasionally joined their group activities, which were always light hearted and fun. This was over about a 3-year period and I transcribed this book after I moved away from that area. My market at the time was New Agers, thus the drawings and references to it. I decided to leave the chapters with references to the New Age Movement in this version because it shows how consciousness has evolved over the past twenty years. -dg

Prologue
Did you ever feel that your life is just a struggle going nowhere? That's how most of my life had been... always doing things the hard way... fighting the establishment... shunning the status quo... breaking new ground... going where no woman has gone before. Just tell me I can't do something and I'll put all my energy into proving that I can! I believed life was a struggle and I was going in circles. Now I realize that it was only so because I believed it to be so. I used to think of myself as less than worthless, now I know I am a powerful spiritual being capable of changing the world... with the wisdom to know that everyone else is also. God really had to smack me upside the head a few times before I would let go of my attachment to struggling and just surrender to the flow.
It was the summer of 1971 that first got my attention. We had been living in Chicago, my husband and I with our three children. He was an assistant cameraman and was hired to work on a movie called "Deliverance," which was filmed on location in the northeast corner of Georgia. It was a three-month shoot so the whole family, including our St. Bernard, Sam, went along. We rented a little house in Clayton, and the kids and I spent our time exploring the tri-state area and getting to know the locals. For recreation on Sundays, some of the crew members took up whitewater river rafting. Sort of a busman's holiday since they were working on the river six days a week. They picked out a stretch of river where they had been filming for a while where they thought it wasn't too dangerous for amateur adventurers. On this particular trip, we had two four-person rafts with my husband John, my 16 year old sister JoAnn, and two other crew members in one raft; myself and Wally Worsley, Sue Dwiggens and Skip Cosper in the other. The Chattooga is not quite the raging Colorado, but it has some pretty wild rapids. There was enough danger to make the ride thrilling and to build one's self-confidence after making it through each stretch of whitewater, but not enough trouble as far as we knew to make you think someone might die.
There is, however, a very tricky part in the center of the river at the head of the last set of rapids at Woodall Shoals, called a hydraulic. Normally, when water flows over rock formations in a river, it goes over or around and continues down river. In this case, there is an accumulation of rocks piled up and about a four-foot drop to the water line. Below the water line, at the base of the rocks, there is a deep hole… a “keeper” hole. The water pours down into this hole and churns around a few times before it continues downstream. There is a tendency for things that go over a fall like this to become trapped and held fast by the action of the water. There are the broken remains of several kayaks scattered along the shoreline to attest to its power. When the river is high following a rainstorm, a smart rafter can avoid this obstacle by going through a narrow pass near the far shore and continuing down through roughly 100 yards of rapids to the next calm water below, which we had done on a previous trip. On this day, however, it hadn't rained all week and the river was extremely low.
We beached our rafts at the head of the rapids and got out to read the river. The path around the hydraulic was too shallow and narrow for the rafts to get through, but, since the river was low, the hydraulic didn't look as treacherous as it did the last time we took this trip. The drop to the water was steeper, but the path through the rocks was clearer. We could read the currents better-- just head into it from the shore, turn a 90 degree angle, maneuver the raft around the rocks hand over hand, turn the nose of the raft downstream and go for it. It looked simple enough.
As a precaution, we took all the extra oars and life jackets, the coolers and cameras, extra clothes and shoes out of John’s raft and into ours, and they plunged into the river. The plan worked perfectly... 90 degrees, turn the nose and down they went. A piece of cake. The rest of us laughed at our earlier concern and decided it was so easy, we'd just jump in, gear and all, and follow them. So we did. But, somehow our raft got turned around by the current and, instead of nose down, we went tail first. Sue and all our gear that we had so carefully taken out of the other raft were immediately dumped out and went tumbling down the rapids. I had been in the front of the raft, straddling the side. When the raft turned around, I was grabbed by the water rushing over the fall and started to slip off the raft. Frantically, I tried to grab onto something to keep from going over, but there was nothing there. Just as I slipped over the side, one of the men still in the raft managed to grab my wrist as I slid down. I found myself stuck between a rock and a hard place; the rocks at my back, the raft in my face, tons of water pushing me down, and Skip, my would-be rescuer trying to pull me up.
The relentless action of this water monster caused the raft to fill with water and then buck, emptying it. One of these bucks threw Wally out, but Skip clung tenaciously to my wrist and occasionally he was able to pull me up enough for me to get a quick breath of air. Well, I began to analyze my situation, which is what we Virgos do under all circumstances, and I quickly came to the conclusion that I was going to die right then and there. My life didn't flash before my eyes. I didn't think about the people I was leaving behind. I just calmly accepted it. It wasn't a matter of whether I was going to die, but how. I decided I would rather drown than get my head bashed in by the rocks, so the next time my head broke the surface, with my last breath, I managed to shout, "Let go!" And Skip did.
As the water pulled me under and I breathed it in, the most peaceful feeling came over me. I seemed to relax and become one with the river as I was taken by the tumbling currents beneath the surface. Everything went black. I had no awareness of anything happening to me. Then suddenly I awakened high above the river, looking down on the scene below. I watched my husband and sister running back up the hill, then standing on the rocks on the shoreline, watching helplessly. I saw Sue hanging onto a rock downstream and Wally now struggling in the white water to reach her. Several other people, who apparently had been picnicking near the pool below, came running up to find out where all the debris was coming from. Skip was still in the raft, hanging onto the side, looking into the water for my body to emerge.
John looked as if he was going to jump in to try to save me but he wasn’t much of a swimmer. As soon as I thought about stopping him to tell him I was all right, I was by his side. I reached out to get his attention but my arm went right through him and I suddenly realized… oh my god, I’m dead!
With that realization, I was quickly drawn away from the earth. I felt my self suddenly being pulled very quickly into a silent blackness. As I accelerated through the darkness, I saw streaks of light passing by emanating from a pinpoint of brilliant while light ahead of me, as if I were traveling through a tunnel or vortex at a high rate of speed. The light grew larger and more colorful as I approached. I was surrounded by a wonderful feeling of unconditional love and acceptance.
I quickly realized I wasn't alone. There was someone, whom I can only describe as a loving Being of Light, traveling beside me... at the speed of light! We communicated telepathically. This was someone I have always known and I knew that as soon as I sensed the presence of this being. Yet I cannot now tell you who it was. I didn't have the sense that it was any familiar religious figure or deceased relative, but rather a special friend who is always with me wherever I am; perhaps, my guardian angel. We communicated telepathically and every question I ever had was answered before I could even ask it.
In an instant, total knowledge of reality appeared to me and I perceived the mutil-dimensionality of the universe and how it all works. My consciousness expanded so far beyond the physical plane that I was no longer aware of it, nor of my body. I was so much a part of it all there was no distinction between me and everything else. I looked into the light and this feeling of love so profound, powerful and overwhelming washed over me. I can only describe it as pure Bliss (even though that doesn't begin to describe it). I knew I was being welcomed home
The Bible suddenly made complete sense to me (I had read it before but it was just a bunch of words and stories). I realized all religions are the same in trying to explain “God,” they just use different words to express the same principles--love each other, respect each other’s rights, be responsible, caring, kind and return that love to the Source of your being with everything you do. And no one religion is right or better or the only way or even necessary. We are all God’s children. We all are one with God. All loved unconditionally.
God is not some big old guy with a long white beard sitting on a throne who judges human kind and causes earthquakes and floods to punish us. God is All That Is and All That Is is Love. There is no death. There is no Heaven where we rest or slumber while awaiting some Judgement Day nor Hell where we are punished for our sins, but there are many levels of existence in various frequencies of light. Going through them and learning from them is our eternal spiritual journey. Life goes on as we evolve in consciousness and raise our frequency. Each human lifetime we live is like a blip in our spiritual journey.
I continued to be aware of this feeling of love surrounding me throughout my experience. There was no fear, no anxiety, no worry. I even felt as if I'd done this before, many times, and was remembering that I was returning to my spiritual home. I was filled with joy. I had no sense of a body, no feeling of limitations or boundaries. Yet, I was still me and aware that I was having this experience. Not Diane, but my true self of which Diane is a part.
Suddenly, we burst into the light and a whole new reality was revealed to me, similar to the physical world, but, in this higher vibration, more colorful, more beautiful, more amazing. Filled with light but there was no sun.
I saw, not with eyes, plants, trees, mountains, lakes, animals, and shimmering crystal-like buildings, some very large and ornate. I saw beings moving about, light beings, going about their daily lives. They don't have human-like bodies, but they are distinct fields of energy. They don't walk, they float. They have lives much like ours with purpose and meaning, but without the struggles and sorrows brought on by our attachments to physical things. They are artists, musicians, dancers, singers, inventors, builders, healers, creators of magical things... imagining the things they will manifest in their next lifetimes in the physical dimension.
The Being of Light told me it was my choice to stay or go, but that there was more for me to do for my soul’s growth in this lifetime as Diane if I chose to continue. Still hesitating, I was told that if I chose to go back, I would be given certain knowledge to take back with me to share with others. After much discussion, I agreed to go back and suddenly found myself in front of a tall cone-shaped building; so tall, it seemed to go up forever. I was told this was the Hall of Knowledge. I entered the building and flew, spiraling upwards, through what appeared to be shelves of books, like in a library, many millions of books, and I flew through them all. When I reached the top, I burst through it into a kaleidoscope of colors and, at the same time, my head popped out of the water about 100 yards downriver from the raft!
I gasped for air and grabbed the first rock I came to and pulled myself onto it. I coughed up a lot of water but my mind was fairly clear about where I was, not so sure about where I had been. I saw Sue and Wally in the water, and Skip still in the raft, still stuck against the rocks, fighting to hold on as the raft filled and bucked with frequent regularity.
I was astonished to be back in my body in the river. I remembered where I had been for an instant but then it was gone. Did that really happen? There was a moment of cognitive dissonance, of being uncomfortable in my physical body, but I wasn’t exhausted like I’d been fighting with the river to stay alive. John, who still thought I was stuck under the raft because no one saw my body come out and float downstream, saw me surface down river and ran down to help me get out. He says I mumbled something about going somewhere else, but was basically incoherent. I had no words to describe where I was, no point of reference to begin to explain it, as I had never heard of such a thing happening to anyone before. As we made our way back up toward the raft, I saw the safety line tied to the front of the raft whipping back and forth in the current. I made a dive for it and carried it to the side of the river. The others were then able to pull Skip and the raft free.
I can't say that I was clinically dead, but I have no memory of struggling under the water or trying to hold my breath until I reached the surface. (I've been a swimmer, water skier, scuba diver, and surfer, so I've had plenty of close calls under water before when I thought I might die, but nothing like this. These other times I remember perfectly well struggling to reach the surface, my lungs about to burst, trying not to inhale, totally aware of my physical experience.) What I do remember during the time (and I’m guessing it was no more than a few minutes) my body was under the water is what I have stated here. I walked around in shock for months afterwards, not knowing how to describe my experience nor integrate it into my life. When I did try to tell someone what I experienced, I was patted on the head and told to forget it, that I was lucky to be alive… which is why I repressed the memory and tried to get on with my life.
My life changed immediately and drastically after that day in the river and I went through some very troubled times because I didn't know what was happening to me, including a divorce (my husband had no clue what I was going through after my strange experience and just thought I must be crazy), child custody battles, trying to find a job after not working for almost ten years, being single again... my kundalini was running amuck causing sexual promiscuity, depression and suicidal thoughts. My dark night of the soul led me on a long, winding path, to becoming a seeker of my higher purpose. I knew there was a reason I chose to come back when I was on the other side, but once back in body, it was a mystery to me that I even had a purpose.
A series of synchronicities led me to go back to school (7 years later) at age 37 to study psychology. After 5 years, I had a BA and MS. While in college, I realized the significance of the library I flew through during my experience into the Light. All the books I read, it was as if I had read them already, and had no trouble making the Dean's List most semesters, in spite of working part time (cleaning houses, dog sitting, tutoring, prostituting my fingers as a typist) and raising three teenagers as a single mother.
I began my metaphysical studies several years after graduation, reading every metaphysical, religious and spiritual book I could get my hands on, and talked with many teachers and gurus over the years. I picked up a book in a light center one day titled Strangers Among Us by Ruth Montgomery, which described my experience and I finally knew I wasn't alone... or crazy!
It was after that I discovered Raymond Moody’s book, "Life After Life," in which he described what happened to me as a near-death experience (NDE), now known to be had by millions of others.
I began meditating a few years after my experience, mainly to deal with stress, but eventually, by getting my kundalini under control, learned to reach and maintain a higher level of consciousness in every day life. The emotional dramas of my life didn’t get to me like they use to. I was able to let go of what wasn’t really important to my spiritual growth.
I became an ordained minister and a spiritual counselor, and earned another master's degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy, which lead me to using past-life regression as a therapy. My education beyond the veil continues to this day and has evolved my thinking into a higher consciousness perspective.
My purpose for coming back manifested in writing this book in 1989, during which time I became a Hospice volunteer, followed by "Through the Tunnel" in 1992--a more modern version of "The Tibetan Book of the Dead."
In 2008, I developed an online training course for people who wish to teach others to be Transition Guides and continue to certify complementary practitioners to integrate this sacred work into their practice. In 2009, I wrote "Beginner’s Guide to Conscious Dying: The Path to Soul Healing, Peace of Mind & Unconditional Love" for those who wish to learn the practice of conscious dying themselves to give them peace of mind while living. I began my first web site in 1996, BeyondtheVeil.net, and continue my path of service through it for seekers of the Light.
My mission is to empower people with the tools and information they need to see beyond the veil. Becoming someone's guru or making someone dependent upon me for his or her spiritual enrichment has never been the goal of my work. I want everyone to be his or her own guru, his or her own spiritual seeker. My role is simply to provide resources and information I gleaned from my experience to awaken others to the possibility that there is more to life and it needs to be investigated if you want to evolve your own consciousness.
I look forward to the glorious experience of returning home when my work here is finished, but I'm not in any hurry. I still have a lot to do here on earth before it's time to leave this body and continue my soul’s education and development on the other side. In the meantime, I'm here to help those in need of spiritual upliftment from a near-death perspective.
The purpose of the rest of this book is to open minds, shatter worlds and dissolve illusions. Some readers will dismiss it as bunk because they are not yet ready to let go of their attachments to old belief systems, but many will return to it someday when they are ready to use the information for their highest good. For you who are ready now, it will change your life, and you will develop your own unique potential and discover your reason for being. You will be the transformers of those who come later.
Some of the information presented on these pages is directly from my knowledge, some of it is from the collective consciousness that is available to anyone who learns to tap into it; some is from other entities or groups of entities and, sometimes when it's coming from me, another entity will add information. I don't try to distinguish whom it's coming from or who's saying what, but the reader can tell from the change of tone or by the use of different pronouns or sentence structure that someone else is adding a thought. They are not attached to being acknowledged. I'm not claiming omniscience for I am still growing, often still confused by illusions and distorted past learning. What is true for me may not be true for you, but that is no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater. It is a reason to put aside dogma and ego-centered beliefs, and openly explore the mysteries of Oneness with God. We each have our own path to follow-- the Tao.
This book is not necessarily meant to be read cover to cover, but be aware that certain concepts that are mentioned in one chapter may be explained further in another. It is my sincere hope that everyone who reads this book will learn at least one thing that will help them enjoy this lifetime to the fullest, develop their creative potential, and raise their consciousness to Unconditional Love.
This Prologue has been given as an example of one person's continuing journey through the muck and mire of life on Earth to reach the Light. The rest of the book is the wisdom available to the true seeker who sits in the blossom of the lotus and returns his or her essence to God.

Wow... another reality. What a concept!

Introduction
1989: I began writing this book before I knew I was writing this book. I'm always writing anyway, and I knew, sooner or later, another book would come, but this was not what I expected. At some point, it became obvious to me that the information I was writing went beyond what I had read in the many books I had read and I began to search for answers, not from books but from the deep inner peace I found in mediation. I learned that I had managed to link up with not just one other consciousness, but with several. I was asked by these "entities" to write down the information they were sending through me to the general population. They said it was time for all human beings to have access to the mysteries of the Universe that have been kept from them by religious dogma. At first I wasn't interested, I had my own book to write, but they were persistent and so very annoying until I agreed to collaborate on this book to get their message out because I also think it's about time we knew the truth about ourselves. In return, they agreed to leave me to write my own book, "Through the Tunnel," when I finished theirs.
I've tried to keep the language fairly simple and not get too abstract to reach a broader range of people-- from those beginning their spiritual paths to more evolved students who are further along. Advanced souls already have this information and those whose minds are closed, will only argue about it if they read it at all. This book is not for a chosen few, but it is only for those who are ready to receive it. Those who are not, will toss it aside. I admit that I don't have all the answers myself, but I keep an open mind and consider all information carefully. I don't jump to conclusions. I'm too scientific-minded and analytical to accept anything at face value. I go with what makes the most sense to me, not just because someone said it, I trust my inner wisdom, and I hope all seekers who read this book will do the same. The answers are within you… you will know it when you find it.
Part 1 introduces the contributing entities and gives them a chance to communicate what they wish without interference from the others. Lest you think this is going to be all solemn and stuffy, let me introduce them to you through my drawings, which you'll find throughout the book. They are not meant to be actual representations, merely what came through to me while surrounded by their energy. By the way, that's me up there sitting in the lotus blossom, drawing insight from the ethers.
Part 2 is a series of dialogs on philosophical, scientific and metaphysical topics to which they all contributed without identifying themselves as separate entities. It really doesn't matter to them who said what. They’re not big on citations or copyrights. Some chapters were given to me as a whole, others in bits and pieces that came together like jigsaw puzzles. Some of the information is from my higher consciousness, to which they often add a piece of their minds.
And just a note: Since there are as yet no accepted androgynous pronouns, to avoid the cumbersome use of he or she, him or her, his or hers, sometimes the masculine and sometimes the feminine pronouns are used when both are intended.

Through Time and Space
Channeling isn't a new phenomena, it's just a New Age term for an ability all humans have the potential to develop. It's not talking to the dead, conjuring up spirits or becoming possessed. It's merely the communication process we call thinking carried beyond the usual internal conversations between the subconscious and conscious minds of each of us to include the superconscious mind, or Higher Self. This process is normal and natural in human evolutionary development, but may be accelerated by opening our spiritual centers and relinquishing control of the ego (lower self) to the Higher Self, or Spirit. As we become more spiritually developed and peaceful within, we are able to stop the lower level chatter and tune in to our Higher Consciousness Wisdom, which reflects the Ultimate Light.
Although all humans have the potential to reactivate their spiritual powers lost when their Spirit took on a "coat of skin," not everyone is yet ready to let go of their attachments to the physical world and material possessions. That's an individual choice, Free Will in action. But when we begin to pay attention to our inner wisdom instead of our egoic material desires, we raise our consciousness to higher dimensions where we are able to communicate, through our own Higher Self, with higher level beings. Physiologically, the frequency at which (atoms within) the brain vibrates increases, which activates dormant endocrine glands in the brain, which awaken psychic abilities, such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and open up channels sensitive to higher frequencies, much the way a radio or television picks up signals in the atmosphere and translates them into sounds and pictures.
Channeling isn't like hearing voices, it's even rare to get a direct answer to a question or to contact someone in particular. It's more of a feeling or an inner knowingness that's hard to explain in words. Like attracts like in channeling. If your consciousness is full of love, you will attract loving teachers and guides; so mind where your mind dwells!

Althea
High Priestess of the Oracle of Apollo in Delphi, Greece, answers questions and gives advice on mental and spiritual matters to assist in accelerating the evolution of human consciousness.
Diane: What can you tell us about our future?
Althea: This communication comes from the Delphic Oracle, High Priestess Althea, to encourage people to examine their lives and come to know their selves on the deepest levels. Not only will this process lead to greater personal satisfaction, a more peaceful world and increased prosperity, but it will open human consciousness to the higher dimensions of the Universe and bring human beings closer to their Divine Nature.
I have seen your world through the senses of a number of your beings. I have observed your lifestyles, studied your minds, participated in your rituals and customs around the planet, and experienced relationships of various kinds with many humans. Through these beings' pursuit of truth, I have endeavored to comprehend your cultures, your philosophies, your concepts, your values, your attitudes, and you behaviors toward each other and your environment.
There are many higher dimensional entities like myself who are able to infuse our consciousness with the consciousness of highly developed human beings in the Earth plane at this same time for the purpose of raising the level of mass human consciousness to Unconditional Love. We are making our presence known at this time because planetary conditions at the micro- and the macro-levels are ripe at the same time. Much can happen in this period. We are concerned with the direction of change and hope to help you tip the balance in favor of your survival.
When we first came to this beautiful planet many ages ago, we found your ancestors were mindless complexities of protoplasm, but with much potential. Your early environmental and biological evolution produced a highly functional gene pool, which created beings with brains capable of tuning in to the collective consciousness on the mental plane. We infused out consciousness with a few of the more highly evolved early humans so that they became aware of themselves and separated from the animal kingdoms. We came again tens of centuries later in greater numbers to the most advanced civilizations to raise their consciousness to awareness of their God-selves.
We apparently overestimated the development of human intellect, not realizing the extent to which human brains are still subject to animal drives. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans found the secrets, used them for their own amusement, turned them into drama and theatre. The knowledge was misused, misinterpreted and misappropriated as time went on and much has been lost, destroyed or hidden away. Knowledge from the East has been kept secret to save it from the sword of reason. Much of what has been hidden will be uncovered in this time.
When it was decided to provide humans with the opportunity to accelerate, the consciousness closet to God's own, the one called Jesus, manifested on Earth again as a human entity hoping one highly evolved human could better relay the message in simpler terms to the masses. Again, the knowledge has been distorted over time. This too will be made clear in this time.
Next Mohammed was sent and many more men and women of peace came forth throughout human history to bring God's message to Humanity, each time the message has been distorted, destroyed or hidden. All truth will be revealed in its time, but all will not recognize the difference between what they have been told and what is truth.
This time, we have come and become better acquainted with the beings who exist and will bring about transformation slowly-- from the inside out-- from the individual level to the societal level in every nation on the planet. It is happening already. We will stay long enough for the major transformation to take place and then leave you on your own again-- this time with mass awareness that every human being, without exception, is both human and divine, and, together, you have the potential to become a race of SuperBeings capable of solving all the problems of physical existence, exploring and exploiting the universe, and living in peace and harmony with all life, for this is your destiny.
We are aware that all will not make the transformation in this lifetime because humans have free will, but by virtue of living in this time, you will have a greater opportunity in your subsequent incarnations.
Most of all, there is nothing to fear because what has been unknown will become known. It will be like waking up from a dream and suddenly everything is different-- brighter, sharper, clearer, lighter. You become aware of things you didn't know existed before, but were always there. It was there all the time, you just didn't see it with your limited senses. Life takes on a whole new meaning. It is Christ-Consciousness or Unconditional Love. You will see the world as it exists beyond the darkness, with the knowledge of good and evil to guide you toward the Light.
And so it is.
Diane: What can you tell us about expanding our consciousness?
Althea: You have been given information from many sources through the ages to help you expand your awareness beyond your physical senses and rise above your Carnal Nature. Many of you now have minds which have evolved to the point of being able to comprehend the importance behind the survival and progression of human life, and of understanding the Self as a Whole. It is to those advanced souls this information will be immediately beneficial.
Socrates, the wisest man in Greece in the 6th Century BC because only he knew that he knew nothing, gave you the key to the human dilemma when he told you, “Know Thy Self”-- because not knowing that you know nothing is the cause of ignorance. Becoming aware of the individual self was Man's first great awakening, becoming aware of a power greater than the self was second. The third is becoming aware that the power greater than your self is your God-Self, which is part of ALL THAT IS. It is time for Man to pierce the veil of ignorance and see into the Light of Knowledge. As you have done with your physical sciences to learn where, when and how, you are now prepared to open the door to knowledge of who and what you are, beginning with the wisdom to know that you really don't know anything.
Philosophers and scientists through your ages have come up with many theories (see Appendix) to describe how humans behave and what environmental and genetic factors influence behavior. More recently, scholars have concentrated on human cognitive processes and the physical activities in the brain. In addition to all the experimental activities in laboratories, students are trained in the theory of the time to apply their scientific hypotheses in the field. Yet for all their knowledge and experience, they really don't know anything and, what's worse, they don't know they don't know. Most humans don't have mental diseases or disorders and don't need these learned people to define normal for them. Each must seek her own truth. Most humans do, however, need information about their own mental processes just to deal with everyday living on the physical plane. Most humans can become their own physician and psychologist with self-knowledge and practice. In the process of getting in control of one's life, one gets a glimpse of her inner world and the door is open to explore the universe to discover who and what I AM.
Generally, humans are frightened by the prospect of looking into their subconscious minds. Frightened by stories of witches and demons and unspeakable horrors of the unknown, appalled by the historic treatment of the mentally ill and mentally retarded, they avoid seeking professional help like the plague. Fortunately, the subconscious mind usually turns out to be less frightening than its reputation and humans are beginning to realize that having trouble dealing with the physical world doesn't mean one is mentally deficient. In fact, they are very normal, but it is the subconscious mind that creates their problems by keeping information from the conscious mind. One must get into the subconscious to make the unknown known by bringing it into consciousness. In retrospect, one finds that it was more frightening when it was unknown than it was to bring it up and look at it. It's like clearing the weeds out of the garden so the flowers and vegetables can flourish. As one begins to experience insights about one's self, one feels freer to explore deeper and deeper levels, which leads to further enlightenment
As self-knowledge increases, self-actualization becomes the person's goal, but before that goal is reached, one's Higher Self makes itself known and transcendence of the physical level becomes the expanded goal. As the true meaning of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus is revealed to the senses, one also becomes aware of her own divine human potential through the expression of Christ-Consciousness and of how to transcend the physical body and exist in all dimensions at will.
So be it.

(an-o-wha-hey) Ascended Masters, Brothers of the Light, who have no desire to manifest on the material plane, but who want to help humans comprehend God, The ALL THAT IS, through illuminated disciples.
Diane: Why are you here?
Anowhahey: We come to assure you that the new civilization that is coming to be on this planet is going to be mainly populated with beings which are not aggressive toward their own species or any other life forms. In truth, they will live in love and peace, and they may still have, what are called, BMWs and CDs-- if that is what they choose!
Our intervention into the human level is to bring planet Earth and its life forms into harmony with the new vibrations as its solar system shifts into a new dimension of space and time. True, there will be greater discord within your planet as its vibratory rate reaches critical mass, but that's all the more reason why people on Earth should all band together now so they will be prepared to help each other when the time comes. It is nonsense, even if this shift weren't imminent, to waste so many valuable lives fighting amongst yourselves over relatively trivial matters.
Your sciences have enough knowledge to know that major earth changes have wiped out civilizations in the past and they are beginning to be able to recognize energy buildups, plate shifts, and climate changes. We are here to provide the human population with advanced knowledge to save the planet and the life on the planet from almost any possibility, or, if worse comes to worse, to evacuate as much of the population as possible to a human-habitable planet in another solar system. But we're not going to do it for you. That's your job, humans.
If your DNA is going to survive in this universe, it has to continue to adapt to the environmental changes. Your planet and its people have to remain in harmony with universal order in order to survive. Many strong DNA chains, as capable as humans', have not survived such a shift. Spontaneous combustion, either from doing themselves in during the stress of pre-shift chaos or becoming the victims of cosmic catastrophes, have caused extinction.
Looking at the current global picture on Earth-- the tension it has been under is apparently easing-- both on the planetary level and the human level. Your silly wars are decelerating; cooperation is becoming popular. But, on the planetary level, this is like the eye of the hurricane. You didn't listen earlier, before the solar system's transition heated up, but you have another chance. This is the time to prepare for the whammy that comes in the back door. Whatever earth changes are going to occur cannot be stopped nor can their extent be predicted. The planet will react to the transition according to its structure. Fortunately, the amount of water on Earth will buffer the shock wave, however the tectonic plates are malleable and subject to catastrophic (to humans) movement. The weather is also subject to change as the polar ice caps break up causing the planet to shift on its axis. These are the things you should be about, not war and greed, not power and money. How are you going to feed people if your farm belt changes rapidly? Haven't you learned anything from the advance of the Sahara? How are you going to provide medical care for people injured in global floods and earthquakes? What's going to happen to your communication systems, your transportation systems, the economic structure? Are you going to wait 'til it's broke, then fix it? Haven't you people gotten the message about prevention yet?
We feel sad knowing what human beings are capable of and seeing them wasting their potential on trivialities when there is so much more to them-- when there is so much more to life than merely surviving.We come into your consciousness to give you wisdom and knowledge in order to help your species and your planet survive and prosper. We are the ascended masters, teachers and guides-- Brothers of the Light. We are your humble servants, Anowhahey. All you need to do is ask for our guidance-- and listen to the stillness in your minds for the answers. You have the power to save your world. If you don't understand what you hear, don't dismiss it-- read, study, open your mind, talk to your friends and loved ones, ask questions, and seek guidance of your Higher Self and the great teachers and masters of the Universe who love you and care for you deeply, as does the One That Is All. Follow the path to the Light that is right for you with love.

J'Kobe lives on a planet called DayStar in another solar system in the Milky Way Galaxy. He's highly advanced, but a bit of a maverick and fancies himself a social critic.
Diane: What do you think of life on Earth?
J'Kobe: "Fool!" they say. "You're not supposed to be happy. Not suppose to enjoy life, have fun, make a lot of money, do what feels good, expand your horizons. You're supposed to work your tail off, suffer as much as possible, be miserable all your life, and die a horrible death. It's for your own good. It's your ticket to Heaven."
Ugh, pardon me. When does the next bus off this planet leave? This isn't what I pictured when I looked at the travel brochures. I must have taken a wrong turn at G-47 and ended up here by mistake. But then there are no mistakes. Everything happens for a reason.
Apparently, the reason my ship was diverted to this planet was to help you humans unmask the distorted perceptions you have developed concerning your existence. You have chosen to live on one of the most beautiful planets in the universe, which in itself should be a clue as to your true nature. Beauty is to be enjoyed. That is why you have senses. You are the caretakers of this planet; your work is to nurture it and use it for the good of all. That is why you have muscles and bones. You have the capabilities to build technology to explore the universe, exploit its resources, colonize other planets, trade with civilizations on planets in neighboring solar systems and galaxies. You have the mental capacity to understand the secrets of the universe and your connection to the Whole. That is why you have minds.
It must be that you don't realize the potential of your species or else why would you continue to wallow in mediocrity? Why do you continue fighting amongst yourselves, blaming others for your troubles, abusing your bodies, destroying your environment? This is not what life is all about, folks. You make up things that aren't real and then battle to the death over your illusions. What a waste of energy. What a waste of life. If you blow yourselves up in your frenzy for survival or pollute your environment until you destroy your ozone layer in your greed, at least your DNA structure will not survive to pollute the rest of the universe! But what a waste of millions of years of evolution.
There is hope, however. I have seen it among the people who call themselves Light Workers. Many have not only seen the Light, but have been to the Light, and they realize the true potential of human beings and their connection to all life. Listen to them! These people have the potential to change the course of human history on Earth and to include human DNA in the history of the universe. There will be many false leaders, those with their own self interests and illusions at heart, and there will be many who will ridicule these new thinkers because they are afraid of losing their long held, but ineffective, belief systems, who will try to stop this Movement or turn it into just a new version of the old or just another way to make a profit.
It is up to each of you to go inside your self and realize your own truth about who and what you are and what your life is all about; to come back out into the Light and follow your inner guidance to unfold the potential of your DNA structure-- your dreams, your aspirations, your missions in life.
Whatever you can imagine is coming into being as you think it. Choose your thoughts well. If you think there must be war, there will be. If you think life is filled with suffering, then it is. If you think there are limits, there are. Just as the Universe goes on forever, there are no limits to your imaginations, nor what you, as human beings, are capable of. It is you who stop yourselves with your limited thinking.
We want you to exist, to be part of the great evolving adventure of life in God's Universe. We don't want you to blow yourselves up, destroy your planet, or continue to fight amongst yourselves and destroy precious lives. Our civilization has already been through many of the problems you are now facing. We are here to give you the knowledge of our experience, not to conquer you or destroy you. We have tended to remain anonymous while we have been studying you because of your tendency to misinterpret things you don't understand as something evil, but we now see a more open-minded society evolving and we are beginning to take the chance that you are willing to accept that you are not alone in the universe.
I am one of many explorers who have come from the solar systems within this Milky Way Galaxy to view your civilization. We want to share knowledge and trade resources. Your books and movies portray us as your worst nightmares, but we are not. We are more like you than different. We presently exist on your planet within the consciousness of human beings while our physical forms rest in a ship in orbit around the planet. We don't want to frighten you by our appearance, although I regret that occasionally our overzealous scientists do, therefore it is more functional for us to mind-meld with humans. The time has come for us to come out of the closet, so to speak, to help save humanity from its self-destructive nature.
We hope in the near future to be able to land our ships and appear to you as we are, without causing a riot, so that we may help you directly rather than through others. We know other extraterrestials have been here before us in the past to give their knowledge to you, but left because you were too ignorant or too aggressive to understand. We hope soon you will be ready to receive visitors to your planet in peace.
In our travels through space and time, we have encountered numerous civilizations. One thing we have found the more advanced have in common is that they have overcome their tendency to conquer others in order to progress themselves. With this waste of time out of the way, they are free to conquer the physical laws that hold them to their planets and to express themselves in the universe. Are you ready for that?

In previous incarnations, Philos has been a priest/philosopher/scientist in Lemuria, Atlantis, Egypt, Ancient Greece, Medieval Europe and the American colonies. He is a Guardian of the Temple of Knowledge and Truth on high spiritual plane. Much of this book contains translations from the Temple's archives from his consciousness to my higher consciousness to my conscious mind to be able to write it down.
Diane: What have you to tell us about the mind?
Philos: You use your mind to direct your hand, yet you know not where your mind is. You can see your hand pick up the pencil and begin to write your thoughts, and you know the thoughts you write come from your mind, yet you know not how the thoughts came to be in your mind. Your thinking about the mind is limited to your knowledge of your physical brain. But brains don't think, they only act on instinct and learned behavior. Only the mind thinks.
Your brain is composed of atoms, which have self-organized into molecules, which have self-organized into a complex cellular structure vibrating in harmony. Sensations from the environment stimulate the brain, the galvanic battery, to produce an electric current, which causes chemical exchanges between cells to occur, which "run" your body. But none of this requires thinking.
What is different about human brains and the brains of other animals, however, is not so much on the cellular level as it is on the etheric level where atoms are less dense, but no less organized. The self-organizing principle of atoms can be termed "soul," which may be likened to the orchestra conductor who pulls all the various instruments together into a symphony of sounds but does not physically play an instrument. The sounds may be broken down into various instruments with certain vibrations, which stand by themselves but don't give any indication of the whole. It takes the conductor to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
All living things organize under the conduction of a "group-soul" with no or very little individuality allowed, certainly with no need to "think." Jonathon Livingston Seagull* is the exception, not the rule, but may occur because every living system strives to develop to its fullest potential and, as evidenced from biological to subatomic particle theories, what is achieved by one may be transferred to others to raise the level of "consciousness" of the whole group with a quantum leap. Innovation may be achieved out of boredom or necessity.
Group-soul at work is clearly demonstrated when a school of fish or flock of birds or swarm of insects suddenly changes direction as a whole, as if some leader suddenly yelled “left,” “right,” “up,” “down” and all follow as one, instantaneously. As in behavior, where all of a species are genetically “programmed” to repeat the same behavior patterns from birth to death, group-soul is also evidenced in appearance where all of a species appear alike.
In human beings, however, the group-soul is overshadowed by individualized-souls, which came about when one human broke out of the mold and experienced an act of individual creativity. This action allowed the seed of mind to sprout in humans, which enabled them to develop mental powers. But the mind is not in the body. The seed activated the brain cells, which are attuned to the mind, which exists on higher levels. The body exists in the mind, which created it by thought projection.
Man is, therefore, a divine spirit possessing a soul, a mind and a body, which together create the Whole of Man--a being both Human and Divine. Spirit projects a representation of itself (physical body) into the world of matter. Through experience (many incarnations), soul builds a mental force field (mind), which surrounds the brain of the form. The brain is constructed according to the pattern of the mind to express its force field. The soul evolves according to the experiences of each personality it projects as each personality dies and returns an increased degree of consciousness to the soul, which increases its mental force field for the next incarnation. The personality exists to dissolve Karma and discover its spiritual nature. Only the good a human being does is received by her spirit, the bad is written into her karmic record and dealt with by the soul on the astral plane after physical death with the remaining karma carried forward to the next incarnation. The physical brain serves as a channel through which the conscious mind is able to communicate with its subconscious physical form and superconscious spiritual form. This is the mind thinking.
